The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, is set to deliver on his promise of providing decent buses to clubs in the country, as he confirmed when he met the press in Kumasi on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

This initiative from the FA President is to fulfill his promise made during the 2023 GFA Elections.

Kurt Okraku disclosed that 12 buses are ready to be distributed to clubs at the end of the 2023–2024 season, with the remaining 18 buses to be delivered later.

Kurt’s administration, as part of tackling the rampant difficulties when it comes to transport on the side of numerous club teams in the country, saw it as necessary to make sure the issue of transportation doesn’t grow to become a major concern when it comes to club football in Ghana.

Among the 30 buses promised by Kurt Okraku during his election campaign in 2023 to improve transport efficiency, majority will be delivered to teams in Division One and women’s club teams.

Kurt shared his elation over the initiative to improve transport issues among club teams in the country, as he stated that it is an ideal way to improve football in the country moving forward and also invest in the clubs.

The initiative supports Kurt’s vision to improve the ill state of football in Ghana moving forward.
