The Ghana Tourism Authority, GTA and the Kwahu Traditional Council have launched the 2024 Kwahu Easter Festival at Kwahu Abene in the Eastern Region.

Before the launch, the GTA engaged the Kwahu Traditional Council to seek its support on how to improve the festival to bring the desired development to the area.

The Traditional Leaders raised issues with the bad roads in the area and appealed for reconstruction.

In response, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Ghana Tourism Authority, Ekow Sampson, assured the chiefs that their concerns, including the deplorable state of the roads will be addressed accordingly.

Mr. Sampson announced that the festival will be held from Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1 2024 on the Odweanoma Mountain at Atibie-Kwahu.

He encouraged the public to participate in the event.
