Continental campaigners Dreams FC have been drawn against Soccer Intellectuals FC in the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup.
In a short ceremony at the headquarters of MTN in Accra on Wednesday, the draw for the last eight pitched Nsoatreman facing Karela United, Legon Cities welcomes Bechem United. Bofoakwa Tano FC will be at home against Skyy FC whilst the Theatre of Dreams host Dreams FC and Soccer Intellectuals to wrap up the fixtures.
The games to select teams for the semi finals also are expected to commence on at all the VAR venues from March 29 to April 1, 2024.
According to the chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, Wilson Arthur, the absence of notable big club names at this level portrays the level of competitiveness of the competition .The Senior Manager, Brands and Communication of MTN Germain Naatey expressed their delight in the support Ghanaians have offered to the FA Cup over the period.
“We are committed in supporting Ghana Football and we want to use the FA cup games to drive community development”.
“We have planned for some innovations to make this season’s competition very attractive for all to participate and we shall be rolling these activities in due course”.
As part of measure to generate excitement, the committee has announced free gate to all women and children under the age of 15.
