Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has made a compelling case for his election as the next President of Ghana. Addressing a mammoth crowd in Kwahu Mpraeso after a special Easter health walk, Dr. Bawumia said, having never been President of Ghana before and considering his acclaimed impact as Vice President, a vote for him, he stressed, is a vote for bold solutions, while a vote for his main opponent is a vote for old ideas.

He indicated that he is bringing on board new ideas and bold solutions to move the country forward. He cited a flat tax rate and tax amnesty to businesses and individuals as some measures He will introduce when voted into office.

He listed the NPP’s superior record in education, economic indicators, construction of hospitals, tourism, sports infrastructure, digitalisation and many more. The NPP Flagbearer urged the rank and file of the party to come together and work very hard to win the 2024 presidential election, as well as parliamentary majority.

Thousands of youth participated in the walk, which also had many NPP stalwarts, including National Chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, and some Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State. Also present were some aspirants who took part in the recent NPP presidential primaries.

I had the pleasure of walking with thousands of enthusiastic members of our party and Ghanaians, in Kwahu Mpraeso, in the Eastern Region, this morning.

The well-attended walk was also graced by some Ministers of State, NPP National Chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, some national, regional and constituency executives, as well as a number of MPs and PC’s from the Eastern Region.

At the end of the walk, I addressed the charged crowd and highlighted our party’s superior record in many sectors and declared our readiness to work very hard to build on our achievements and move Ghana to a future of promise and possibilities through our determination to break the 8.

It is possible!!!
