Torrential rains have left some parts of Accra flooded again.

The Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, commonly known as Circle in the Greater Accra Region, became an eyesore after Monday’s downpour.

After just a few hours of downpour, sections of the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange were flooded, with plastic waste adding to the dismal scene, creating an unpleasant sight for onlookers.

This is not the first instance of such flooding and filth overtaking the interchange.

Additionally, the road connecting Ring Road West to the Ako Adjei Interchange experienced flooding, temporarily halting vehicular traffic.

Passengers were forced to disembark and walk through the water, while some vehicles were compelled to seek alternative routes.

Both commercial and private drivers had to detour, as one side of the interchange leading to the Ring Road was nearly impassable due to the downpour.

Overflowing drains added to the chaos, flooding the roads and leaving pedestrians with no option but to navigate through knee-deep water.
