The Black Stars of Ghana will open camp on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in Accra ahead of their upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier doubleheader against Mali and the Central African Republic. Meanwhile, head coach Otto Addo will be expected to touch down in Accra on Monday, May 27, 2024.

The team will start preparations at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium for six days before heading to Bamako, Mali, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to play against their opponent Mali two days later at the Stade 26 Mars before playing their second match against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Ghana, after a slow start in their last two qualification games against Madagascar, would be tasked with improving on their performance when they play against Mali and the Central African Republic. With the team sitting in third place in their group, there is no reason for a slippery start in their upcoming games in Bamako and Kumasi.

With expectations dropping high on both Otto Addo and the players to deliver big in this doubleheader against Mali and the Central African Republic, Otto Addo will be given a closer look as he takes charge of his first qualification match of the year since taking over from Chris Houghton two months ago.
