The Spokesperson for the Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Joyce Bawah Mogtari says Ghana’s economic fortunes can be turned around within three months.
She was reiterating the flagbearer, Mr. Mahama’s stance on the economy, which he noted that his next administration will revive the ailing economy through broader consultation within three months in office.
On Uniiq FM’s Morning Show with George Sarpor, Madam Joyce Mogtari noted that this can be achieved through cutting down on government expenditure and intensifying the fight against corruption especially among state institutions.
Madam Mogtari again noted that the former President is committed to reducing the size of his government when elected into power come December.
She however underscored the relevance of dialogue in finding solutions to the depreciating of the cedis against the US dollars.
