Assemblies of God’s Rev Stephen Wengam visits Kugar Naa of Yendi

The Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God, Ghana led by the General Superintendent, Rev Stephen Wengam has paid a courtesy call on the Kugar Naa of Yendi. 

Other members of the delegation were the General Secretary, Rev Dr Ernest Birikorang, General Treasurer, Rev Dr Simon Abu Baba, National President of the Ministers Wives Association , Lady Mrs Monica Wengam, 10 Regional Superintendents,  some national departmental directors, Vice President of Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and the local pastor, Rev  Elijah  Wunimi. 

Rev Wengam thanked the Kugar Naa for accommodating the church on his land for 93 years and maintaining a healthy relationship with them.

For his part, the Kugar Naa commended Assemblies of God, Ghana for being the first church to be established in Yendi .

He further praised the church for initiating development projects in the community such as a hospital at Saboba, and a vocational school.

The Kugar Naa, called on pastors to use their pulpits to transform lives.

The delegation were in Yendi to dedicate a new chapel for the first church of Assemblies of God, Ghana established in 1939.

The project was sponsored by Rev Wengam and Lady Mrs Monica Wengam.
