A Journalist and Gender Activist, Shamima Muslim says it’s time to take a stand and support former President John Dramani Mahama and the incoming first female vice president.
Speaking at the Campaign Launch on July 27, 2024 at the Jubilee Park in Tamale, in the Northern Region she explained that, the country is in crisis due to the mismanagement and recklessness of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under Nana Akufo-Addo, Bawumia, and Napo. “Amid a vaccine shortage and suffering, our president wastes resources on luxurious travel. We cannot trust this leadership,” She said.
According to her, seventeen(17) Ghanaians died because of a closed renal unit at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, while millions are spent on the presidency and ghanaians face unprecedented suffering, corruption, and nepotism.
Shamima Muslim highlighted that NPP has failed, and the NDC will end their eight years of mismanagement. Also, Mahama has shown real transformation, with achievements like Terminal 3 airport, Legon Medical Center, and the Atuabo gas processing plant. Despite challenges, Mahama promotes press freedom and has the experience to lead.
“Fair-minded Ghanaians must stand up and vote for John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang to rescue and reset Ghana on December 7, 2024,” She added.
