Ghana’s U20 women’s national football team, the Black Princesses, have finally received the outstanding bonuses owed to them by the Sports Ministry. This payment comes as a relief to the players and staff who have been eagerly awaiting their dues.

Each player was initially owed $6,000 for their participation in the three qualifying rounds of the U20 Women’s World Cup. However, after a review, the amount was adjusted, and each player has now been paid a sum of $4,500. Despite the reduction, the timely payment has been welcomed as it boosts team morale.

The team has been rigorously training for the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The tournament is set to kick off on August 31 and will run until September 22, 2024, in Colombia. The players are focused and determined to give their best performance on this international stage.

Receiving these bonuses not only serves as a financial boost but also as a motivational factor for the Black Princesses.

As the countdown to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup continues, the Black Princesses are poised and ready to represent Ghana with pride and excellence. Enthusiasts and supporters eagerly await their performance, hoping they will make a significant impact in Colombia.
