Large quantities of Indian hemp, heroin, and cocaine have been destroyed under the supervision of the Judicial Service, Police and the Narcotics Control Commission.
The destruction of the Narcotic drugs are in compliance with orders of the Accra Circuit Court given between 2020 and 2024.
They are made up of 242 fertilizer sacks, 315 wraps, 24 sachets and 68 compressed slaps of Narcotic substances and three medium-sized buckets of heroin.
The destroyed substances have a potency of O.6, which is higher than the 0.3 used for industrial purposes.
The destruction was carried out at the seashore behind the Black Star Square in Accra.
