The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has temporarily paused his constituency campaign tour in preparation for the party’s manifesto launch on Sunday, August 18.
This was announced in a statement signed by the Communication Director for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye.
The statement further noted that the campaign tour would continue immediately following the manifesto launch.
In the meantime, the NPP leadership has set up an 11-member committee to oversee the organization and implementation of the manifesto launch.
The committee is chaired by Madam Oboshie Sai-Cofie and includes members which include, Henry Nana Boakye, Ms. Abena Asante, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Fati Abubakar, Anthony Abayifa Karbo, and Dennis Miracles Aboagye.
