NPP Gov’t lists key achievements amidst NDC criticism ahead of 2024 elections

The NPP government has showcased a series of significant projects completed under the Akufo-Bawumia administration in response to criticisms from the opposition NDC.

As the 2024 general elections approach, the NDC has questioned the current government’s achievements, accusing them of economic mismanagement and excessive borrowing from the IMF.

In defence, the NPP outlined the achievements of the Akufo-Bawumia government, urging Ghanaians to disregard the NDC’s allegations and to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections to continue the government’s development agenda.

Among the 55 completed projects in the Volta region, notable accomplishments include:

  1. Construction of a 5000-seater stadium in Adaklu
  2. Dual carriageway from Sokode-Gbogame to Ho
  3. Ho Central Market
  4. District Hospital in Wheta, Ketu North
  5. Naval Training Command in Nutekpor, South Dayi
  6. Cassava Processing Factory in Kave, Ketu North
  7. Hohoe Town Roads
  8. Hohoe AstroTurf
  9. Rice Factory at Gbi Godenu, Hohoe
  10. Agroprocessing Factory in Sinostone Dorfor-Gborkpo, North Tongu
  11. Wood and Wood Volta Forest Factory in Hohoe
  12. One District, One Warehouse in Kave Dzodze
  13. Construction of Zongo Islamic School in Hohoe
  14. Construction of a Health Insurance Office at Dzolokpuita
  15. Rice Processing Factory by Spring Agro Industries in Adidome, Central Tongu
  16. Community Water System at Torgome
  17. Construction of District Court in Battor
  18. Construction of Circuit Court in Juapong
  19. Construction of Divisional Police Command in Tokor
  20. Circuit Court in Tokor
  21. Construction of Magistrate Court in Agbozume

The NPP government has called on Ghanaians to consider these achievements and vote for continuity in the upcoming elections, emphasising the importance of sustaining the progress made under the Akufo-Bawumia administration.
