The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has donated essential medical equipment to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) clinic. The donation includes 13 hospital beds, an autoclave, and other medical tools aimed at improving healthcare for both GBC employees and the surrounding community.
Elder Craig Osler and Sister Sandra Osler, humanitarian missionaries from the Church, shared the Church’s mission of serving communities through donations and volunteer work. They emphasized the Church’s commitment to following Jesus Christ’s example by helping those in need, regardless of background or faith.
The Church, which has nearly 500,000 members across West Africa, regularly engages in humanitarian projects, including community service and partnerships to improve healthcare, education, and nutrition.
Miss James, Director of Communication for the Church in West Africa, highlighted the ongoing efforts to support local institutions and communities, showing love for humanity through acts of service.
The Church’s donation is expected to enhance the GBC clinic’s ability to serve its staff and the broader community.
