The Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has officially outdoored its Vice Presidential candidate, Mrs. Elizabeth Sam, in a ceremony held at Ho, the Volta Regional capital.
Mrs. Sam, an experienced advocate for social equality, is set to partner with Presidential Candidate Mr. Kofi Akpaloo for the 2024 elections, bringing her expertise and passion for inclusivity to the party’s leadership.
In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Elizabeth Sam expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for the confidence reposed in her and outlined her commitment to driving equality and inclusivity in Ghana’s governance should her party win the mantle-ship of administration.
“My role as a vice president when my leader Mr. Percival Kofi Akpaloo is voted for as president on the 7th December,
2024, would be to ensure that there is inclusivity and equality that would create equal opportunities for all Ghanaians”, she said.
She highlighted the need to create equal opportunities for all Ghanaians, regardless of background, gender, or economic status. She also emphasized the importance of unity and pledged to work hand-in-hand with the Presidential candidate, Mr Kofi Akpaloo, to implement policies that will benefit all Ghanaians.
“I would also ensure that the implementation of the social contract that our manifesto has tabled would be realized through the institutional structures that already exist to give a better life to the citizens”, Mrs Sam added.
Enthusiastic party members and supporters expressed their confidence in the Akpaloo-Sam ticket to bring meaningful change to Ghana’s political landscape.
