An Nkrumaist Alternative book, titled “Developmental Challenges in Africa,” has been launched in Accra. The book discusses the persistent developmental challenges in Africa, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and Pan-African unity to address them.

The Author, Dr. Adolf Lutterodt, said solutions to Africa’s problems require collective effort within the continent for meaningful progress.

He asked political parties to critically examine Nkrumah’s ideologies and tap from them.

“One principle is that if African countries will have to fight effectively against neo colonialism it is only if we come together that we will be able to fight, if we are separated and as individuals state, we are too weak to work together. The reason I use social reconstruction is that Kwame Nkrumah defined in his book as the improvement of social and Economic condition of the people so that they will have a dignified life”. He emphasized.

The Dean of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, who chaired the event, Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso, said the youth as the leaders of tomorrow, also have the potential to drive change today.

“I attended several book launches on the University of Ghana campus and elsewhere. The review is good for the youth because you may not be able to buy the book so as soon as the review is done you will be able to what is in the book already. I know a lot about other books when I haven’t read them but today, the Youth don’t hide to study”.

“This thing was publicized very much well, everywhere I see the advert, why is the youth not here? You should have come in your numbers to learn about Nkrumah and learn about what the book is saying. And even pressurized your parents to buy the book for you later. Let me tell you, the future is knowledge future and if you don’t have the knowledge, forget it, we will be where we are” he said.

Dr. Adolf Lutterodt, book addresses the various obstacles that African countries face in their quest for sustainable development. It examines issues such as poverty, inadequate infrastructure, political instability, and the impact of colonial legacies. The book called for innovative solutions and the application of Nkrumah’s philosophies to overcome these challenges.

The book is dedicated to all Africans who are tirelessly struggling to free themselves from the perennial problems of poverty, economic exploitation, and social injustice.

The launch of the book coincided with the birthday of the Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, which is September, 21.

Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
