The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has promised to create District Agricultural Mechanisation Centres in all the districts of the country to improve the activities of farmers.
He said the Centres would be stocked up with agricultural machinery which will be given to the farmers to use to make their work easier and in the long run increase their productivity.
Addressing party faithful during a Community Connect at Drobo the Jaman South Constituency as part of his campaign in the Bono region, Dr. Bawumia said he will also facilitate the establishment of a Cashew Processing Factory to add value to Ghana’s cashew under his presidency.
Jaman North, Jaman South and Berekum West came alive when the Presidential Candidate of the NPP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia took his campaign tour to these constituencies. Dr. Bawumia in all these constituencies, engaged the traditional authorities, religious leaders, opinion leaders and other professional bodies to share his vision for the country and canvass for votes in the upcoming general election.
In the Jaman South Constituency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia concluded his activities in the constituency late in the night with a Community Connect.
Although it was raining in the night in Drobo, the downpour did not deter the thousands of the young supporters of the NPP in the constituency who waited eagerly to meet Dr. Bawumia for the Community Connect.
The Presidential Candidate touting the achievements of government over the past eight years, pledged to bring more development when voted into power. He told the people of Jaman South Constituency that he will establish a Cashew Processing Factory to add value to the produce.
Dr. Bawumia, also said Ghana will have District Agricultural Mechanisation Centres to support the agricultural sector.
The Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP for the Jaman South Constituency Col. Kwadwo Damoah, called on the people of Jaman South to be on board to push Dr. Bawumia to win the 2024 election.
He appealed to the people to vote number 1 for him and all the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the December polls.
