The Presidential Candidate of the NPP Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has appealed to the voters in Asunafo South Constituency in the Ahafo Region to change their voting pattern and vote for the NPP in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections on December 7.
When he addressed a Stakeholder Engagement at Sankore, Dr. Bawumia, said his presidency will need a clear majority in Parliament for government business hence the need for voters in the constituency to move away from the ”Skirt and Blouse” pattern of voting and vote for him and the Parliamentary Candidate in the upcoming elections.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his Possibility Campaign Team is in the Ahafo Region to canvas for votes as the general election draws near. The tour began from the Asunafo South Constituency. This constituency has over the years been voting for NPP in the Presidential and the NDC in the Parliamentary elections, a decision Dr. Bawumia intends to change as he tours the constituency.
A Stakeholder Engagement with the Chiefs, the Clergy, Muslim Clerics and other notable organisations in the Constituency at the Sankore Community Centre was Dr. Bawumia’s first activity in the Constituency.
The Omanhene of Sankore Okogyedom Appiah Kubi, appealed to Dr. Bawumia to help with the completion of the Sankore main road.
The next port of call for the Possibility Campaign Trail of Dr. Bawumia, was Kokuom for a Community Connect. The Community Connect, is a predominantly youth forum where Dr. Bawumia explains his youth oriented policies to the Constituency. He appealed to the electorates not to vote “skirt and blouse”.
Dr Bawumia reiterated his firm stance against LGBTQ+.
Some traders in Norbekwaw in the Asunafo South Constituency of the Ahafo Region could not hide their joy as they welcomed Dr Bawumia to the town. They praised the government for the several initiatives and infrastructural projects, pledging to vote for the NPP
Dr Bawumia urged the voters to vote number 1 on December 7th.
