Ahead of the celebration of National Farmers Day, the government, together with private partners, is hosting a five-day National Agricultural Fair, Agrifest Ghana 2024, from November 4 to 8, 2024.

Agrifest  is showcasing Ghana’s rich agricultural heritage and providing a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation, bringing together farmers and stakeholders from across the 16 regions of Ghana.

Organisers of Agrifest hope to engender and foster dialogue and promote innovation, as well as encourage farmers and stakeholders to adapt to environmental changes and implement best practices in agriculture.

The National Farmers Day will climax the Agrifest Show on November 8, 2024, with an Awards Ceremony, where President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will recognise exceptional farmers across the 6 award categories.

Awards include the Overall National Best Farmer, National Best Livestock Farmer, National Best Female Farmer, and National Best Physically Challenged Farmer.
