The Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is optimistic about winning the December polls.
Addressing party faithful at Soboba as part of efforts his constituency-focused campaign in in the Northern region, Dr Bawumia entreated the electorates to come out in their numbers and vote massively for the NPP to widen the gap between him and his main opponent.
“Make no mistake about it. By the grace of God, Insha Allah, we are winning this election. The only issue for me today, if we vote today, is the gap. How big a gap we are going to give our opponents? I want a big gap. I want all of you to come out because we want to beat them well, well.”
Dr Bawumia noted that the numerous development undertaken by the government in the past few years will secure victory for the party. The Presidential hopeful who took a swipe at former President John Mahama said he has no records to show hence Ghanaians should not give him the chance again.
“In this election, the are two of us, myself and former President Mahama. During his time, all the money, and hundreds of millions that were given to him to develop the north. He said he was rearing Guinea fowls under SADA. We have not seen one project under SADA in the five Northern regions. Is there a SADA project in Saboba?” Today, he says he wants to come back, do you want him to come back, he asked.
Dr Bawumia is campaigning in the Northern Region called on the people of be part of the history making and vote him to become the President of Ghana.
