Benjamin Sekyere Yeboah, the NPP MP for Tano South Constituency in the Ahafo Region has promised to return to the next parliament at all cost.

The MP, who also doubled as the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection is optimistic of increasing his votes at the end poll to win together with the NPP Presidential candidate DR. Mahamudu Bawumia.

In the 2020 general election, Benjamin Sekyere Yeboah was elected with 22,034 of the total votes cast representing 52.8% over the Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress Hanna Louisa Bisiw who pulled 19, 731 votes which is equivalent to 47.2% of the total votes.

In an interview with this report on his campaign, Mr. Sekyere Yeboah said, that campaigning in his areas far from the National capital is far different and what people see and say in Accra are not the same in “my area, when it come current exchange rate and the economy at large”.

According to him, his people are more concerned with what affects them, not how the current exchange rate influences the price of goods and services which is topical in Accra politics and campaigning.

He again noted that, “people are going to vote for me based on the works that I have done for them using MPs’ Common Fund and other Funds” for the last four years.
