The Police have asked the Electoral Commission to put in place mechanism to ensure security, law and order across the country. At the National Election Security Taskforce Press Centre at the Police Headquarters, the Director of Public Affairs, ACP Grace Ansah Akrofi advised all stakeholders to follow these mechanism until the process is completed.

Only Accredited persons will be allowed access to the Collation Centre. These include the media, candidates and their agents, Accredited Observers and any other individual or groups accreditated by the EC.

All persons entering the Collation Centre will be screened.

No unauthorized vehicles will be allowed within the premises of the collation Centres and motorbikes will not be permitted within 100 metres of the collation Centres.

These arrangements replicated what normally occurs at the National level during Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

The Police urge all stakeholders to fully comply with these arrangements.
