Stanislav Xoese Dogbe is a journalist with over twenty-five years of practical experience; a
Communications Specialist and Consultant; a Political and Campaign Strategist; a
Digital Media Enthusiast; a Business Development Consultant and an Entrepreneur.
Stan has since 2012 worked with President John Dramani Mahama as his Special Assistant and
Director of Communications. Before that, he was a Presidential Aide to President JEA Mills (of
blessed memory) and Vice President Mahama. He also served as a technical adviser to the
newly appointed Minister and Deputy Ministers for Information between 2009 and 2010.
Before entering politics, Stan was the Head of Talk Programmes at Joy FM, Ghana’s biggest
radio station, and for many years produced Ghana’s most influential and listened-to Morning
Radio Show (at the time), the Joy FM Super Morning Show. He was a senior editor in the
newsroom and had a knack for news gathering and packaging.
During Mahama’s previous presidency, he managed the President’s communication strategy,
ensuring a seamless flow of information between the presidency, government, and the public.
Known for his tireless work ethic and strong organisational skills, he continues to play a crucial
role in shaping Mahama’s public image.
Responsible for all backend communications and campaign operations of the John Mahama
2020 and 2024 Campaigns, Stan Dogbe managed the Communications, Digital Campaigns, and
Operations. His influence extends beyond campaigns, communication, and media relations.
Stan is an entrepreneur with interests in Marketing Communications, Construction, Haulage
and Logistics Management, and Interior Decoration.
He also owns a fast-growing television station- Woezor TV. He is respected and recognised for
his creativity, brand development, and event-directing skills. Stan has earned national and
international applause and recognition for staging Ghana’s best, creatively aesthetic, and
beautifully choreographed presidential inauguration in the country’s history.
As a journalist, producer, and TV host, Stan actively collaborates with various stakeholders,
advocating for policies to improve Ghana’s socio-economic landscape. His commitment to
public service has earned him respect among his peers and the public.
Despite his undeniable contributions to Ghanaian politics, Dogbe has not been without
controversy. He, however, remains a resilient and influential figure, actively advocating for
social justice and economic development, often lending his expertise to numerous
developmental projects and initiatives.
His unwavering loyalty to President Mahama has earned him the reputation of a fierce
defender of the former President’s policies and legacy.
