President John Mahama has arrived in Accra, Ghana after joining other African leaders to participate in a High-Level Retreat on African Union (AU) Institutional Reforms.
The retreat began from 27th to 28th of January at the invitation of Kenya’s President, William Ruto who was designated the African Union Champion.
During the retreat, Mr Mahama delivered a speech alongside other African leaders, engaging in detailed discussions on revitalising the African Union, enhancing peace and security, and addressing the continent’s many challenges.
President Mahama later visited Tanzania as part of the three-nation tour. Earlier, the tour began with a brief stopover in Angola, where President Mahama engaged with his Angolan counterparts and held some bilateral discussions.
