President John Mahama has taken a strong stance against corruption, declaring that Ghana is no longer a safe haven for corruption.
This comes after the Oral Committee presented its report to the President on February 10, 2025, at the Jubilee House.
In a stern speech, President Mahama assured citizens that his administration is committed to recovering every pesewa that has been misappropriated and channelling it back into national development.
True to his word, President Mahama has already handed over the reports to the Chief Justice and the Attorney General, paving the way for further investigations and potential prosecutions. This move is seen as a significant step towards holding corrupt officials accountable and restoring transparency in governance.
President Mahama’s stance on corruption has been unwavering, and this latest development is a testament to his commitment to fighting this menace. As he aptly put it, “This is our defining moment in our fight against corruption.”
