In a significant step towards enhancing digital education, Higher Life Academy in Ashaley Botwe has received a generous donation of technological teaching and learning aids from the Children and Teens In Worship (CTIW) Foundation. The official handover ceremony took place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the school premises, with school authorities and students in attendance.
The donation includes 20 Chromebooks, 2 monitors, 2 system units, 1 projection board, 20 computer mice, and a projector—equipment aimed at boosting students’ computer literacy and improving teaching efficiency.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Edinam Amegbedzi, Administrator of Higher Life Academy, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the support. “I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the CTIW Foundation for providing these valuable learning materials. We are committed to making the best use of them and look forward to future collaborations,” she said.
Mr. Mark Addo, Head of the Board for CTIW Foundation, highlighted the importance of equipping students with digital tools. “Education is the key, and once we address that, we can truly develop as a nation,” he stated.
Teachers and students at Higher Life Academy are excited about the new equipment, with many noting how it will transform their learning experience. Emmanuella Aboagye, a student at the academy, shared her enthusiasm: “I would like to say a very big thank you to CTIW for bringing us these excellent learning and teaching materials.”
The event concluded on a high note with a demonstration of the new devices and a commitment from the school to maximize the benefits of the donated resources. With this initiative, Higher Life Academy is poised to take a major leap in digital education, ensuring that students in Ashaley Botwe have access to modern learning tools.
