The National Association of Bimoba, Moba & Gurma, NABMAG, has condemned the brutal murder of five Bimobas who were killed in an attack on a bus at Loagri near Walewale in the North East Region of Ghana.
The incident, which occurred on February 14, 2025, involved unidentified gunmen who opened fire on the bus, which was traveling from Widana in the Upper East Region to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The bus was also set on fire, leaving four of the victims, including a baby, burned beyond recognition. One other victim died the following day in the hospital.
National President of NABMAG, Amos Konsab, has emphasized in a statement that the Bimoba, Moba, and Gurma communities are not involved in the ongoing conflict in Bawku.
The Association urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation to identify and prosecute those responsible for the heinous crime.
The statement called on its members in Ghana, Togo, and Burkana Faso to remain calm as they await the outcome of the investigation.
