DVLA committed to working in unison with various operators

The Chief Executive of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, DVLA, Julius Neequaye Kotey, says the Authority will continue to work in unison with the various operators at the ports who deal with the DVLA.

He said “DVLA will continue to discharge its duties as required by law to ensure that clients get improved and utmost service delivery”.

Mr. Kotey made this known when he led the management delegation to the DVLA office at the Tema Port to have firsthand information about their operations.

Mr. Kotey said the Authority has been mandated by law to provide specific tasks, and it will not renege on its responsibilities to discharge its mandate diligently.

He cautioned the staff to refrain from acts that could mar the image and reputation of the Authority as well as compromise the system.

The Deputy Chief Executive of DVLA, Foster Akwasi Asante, urged the staff to bring their expertise on board to make the Authority an enviable institution not only within the public sector but also to other sectors. The staff assured Mr. Kotey and his team of their unwavering support to ensure that their vision, mission, and purpose are fulfilled.

The Terminal Manager of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Angela Tawiah-Ahen, assured the team of her outfit’s cooperation to work together in a quest to put the two agencies in a stable position.
