Ghana attacker Antoine Semenyo has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaian football fans to support the Black Stars as they prepare to face Chad and Madagascar in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers later this month.

In a video shared on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) platform, Semenyo emphasised the crucial role that fan support will play in the team’s success, urging fans to come out in numbers to rally behind them.

The Black Stars, who are currently second in Group I with nine points, will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, before travelling to Morocco to face Madagascar at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24.

Semenyo acknowledged the importance of these two games, stressing that the team needs the fans’ support more than ever.

“We need you more than ever; these two games are so important and crucial for qualification to the World Cup. Please continue praying for us, and we look forward to seeing you. Hopefully, we can get two wins,” Semenyo said.

The Black Stars have been working hard to prepare for these crucial qualifiers, and Semenyo’s call to action is a reminder that the team’s success is not just dependent on their performance on the pitch but also on the support they receive from their fans.

With the Accra Sports Stadium expected to be packed for the game against Chad, the Black Stars will be looking to feed off the energy of the crowd to secure a vital win.
