Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has paid a courtesy call on King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifier against Chad.

Addo acknowledged the challenging matches ahead and emphasised the need for a victory to boost Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup.

He stressed that the team requires the support of all Ghanaians, particularly the Ga people and their chief, to overcome the difficulties ahead.

“We’re having difficult matches, difficult tasks ahead of us. I think the Ghana nation, the Ghanaian nations, urgently need a victory or victories to go to the World Cup,” he said.

The Black Stars coach expressed his desire to make the entire nation happy by securing a win, which would bring everyone together in support of the team. With the World Cup qualifier against Chad just around the corner, Addo’s visit to the Ga Mantse is a strategic move to rally support and goodwill from the local community.

As Ghana prepares to face Chad, the team’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup hang in the balance.

Currently, Ghana sits second in Group I with nine points, making the upcoming match a must-win agenda to continue up the standings.

With the backing of the Ga Mantse and the Ghanaian people, the Black Stars will be looking to secure a crucial victory against Chad and take a step closer to World Cup qualification.
