The Black Stars gathered in Accra on Monday, March 17, 2025, for a four-day training camp as they prepare for their upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The team will face Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, before traveling to Morocco to take on Madagascar in another Group I fixture on Monday, March 24. With the qualifiers just around the corner, the training camp is crucial in getting the team ready for the challenges ahead.
The first training session saw nine players out of the 23-man squad report for duty, with the rest expected to arrive later.

The players who were present for the day one session included Lawrence Ati Zigi, Joseph Wollacott, Benjamin Asare, Gideon Mensah, Mohammed Salisu, Razak Simpson, Antoine Semenyo, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Kamaradini Mamudu. The team will continue training from Tuesday, March 18, 2025, with the remaining players expected to join their colleagues.
The Black Stars will be looking to make a strong start to their World Cup qualifying campaign, and the training camp is an opportunity for the players to gel and work on their tactics. With a mix of experienced players and young talent, the team will be hoping to make a deep run in the qualifiers and secure a spot at the 2026 World Cup.
