IFJ condemns the killing of Investigative Journalist Ahmed Suale

The International Federation of Journalists, IFJ, has condemned the killing of Investigative journalist Ahmed Husein Suale (34) who was shot and killed by unknown assailants on a motorbike on Wednesday at Madina, a suburb of Accra and calls on the Government to bring to justice both the perpetrators and those who ordered the killing.
In a statement, the IFJ General Secretary, Anthony Bellanger, said the killing of journalists has no place in a civilized and democratic society and Ghana as one of he leading democracies on the African continent, must stand against this savage manner of silencing journalists and killing the truth.
The International Federation of Journalists , is the world’s largest organisation of journalists.
First established in 1926, it represents around 600 thousand journalists in 187 unions and associations accross 146 countries worldwide.
