Former Ghana High Commissioner to India, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, has passed away. He died after a short illness on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

‎His death was announced by Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a heartfelt message on Facebook, Mr. Gyamfi described Ambassador Yalley as “a great man who gave his all for the cause of the NDC.”

‎Ambassador Yalley was a respected lawyer, diplomat, and public servant. He served in various roles, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority. In 2014, he was appointed as Ghana’s Ambassador to India by then-President John Dramani Mahama.
