Kim Kardashian appears to have straightened her daughter North’s hair yet again after publicly declaring that the youngster only wears the hairstyle twice a year.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star stepped out with her two eldest children, North, five, and three-year-old Saint, on Monday to visit the California Capitol in Sacramento for a meeting with Senate President Pro Tempore Toni Atkins to discuss lawmaking.
North stood out in a yellow neon jacket with her naturally curly hair straightened into two pigtails, a surprise after Kim, 38, insisted her eldest daughter is only treated to their style on special occasions.
Back in July, the reality TV star was heavily criticised for using heat on the youngster’s hair, prompting her to hit out at the so-called mummy-shamers via Twitter.
At the time, Kim stated: ‘She is allowed twice a year, on her birthday and birthday party! This pic was taken back in June on her bday.
’ However, North seems to have worn her hair straight for the majority of December.
Kanye West’s eldest daughter was seen with the hairdo at the family’s annual Christmas Eve party at the end of the month, and also wore bright red lipstick, which Kim was again heavily criticised for.
A couple of weeks before, North also had her hair straightened for the Kardashian-Jenner family’s Christmas card photo shoot, while she was seen wearing it straight again at the beginning of December.
