The Ministry of Information in collaboration with the North Dayi District Assembly has organized a day’s sensitization town hall meeting for investment stakeholders at Anfoega Adame in the Volta Region.
The meeting attracted members of the public including civil society groups, small scale business operators, District Assembly Staff, market women, Traditional Leaders, and Heads of decentralized department of some Municipal and Districts Assemblies in the region.
The meeting was aimed at engaging local entrepreneurs on the activities of the government one district one factory policy, thereby encouraging them to deepen their understanding as well as other related programmes of government.
It was also provided the participants the opportunities to seek more clarification on all government new policies including planting for food and jobs programmes.
Addressing the participants, the North Dayi District Chief Executive, Edmund Attah Kudjo stressed the need for business operators, investors, and the general public to take advantage of the new policy to improve their lots.
He noted that the benefit under the policy are enormous, adding that this is one sure way they can turn around their businesses for economic prosperity.
He therefore assured the people of the District of government’s commitment to fulfilling all its campaign promises to the people of Ghana.
The Volta Regional Information Officer, Stephen Adja commended government for its flagship intervention programmes such as 1D1F policy and stressed the need for the youth and all stakeholders in the district to embrace such policies for the development of the District.
