Veteran gospel musician, Rev. Obaapa Christy, has stated her desire to give all gate proceeds from the launch of her 11th album to orphanage homes.
Obaapa Christy on Sunday (March 17) would launch her newest album at the International Central Gospel Church, Holy Ghost Temple, Adenta – Frafraha.
According to the gospel musician, she had been showing this kind gesture towards orphans over the past album launches and this year wouldn’t be an exception.
“Ever since I started doing this, God has been more than faithful in my life. His blessings are endless. My dream is to build an orphanage, but until then I won’t stop giving back to the needy especially orphans,” she said.
She added that, “My team and I are also organising medical and mental screening as well as registering attendants unto the National Health Insurance Scheme. It’s my little quota in giving back to society.”
Top gospel artistes are billed to perform at the album launch come Sunday include Joyce Blessing, Joe Mettle, Ceccy Twum, Piesie Esther, DSP Kofi Sarpong, among others.
