UE/region NDC Youth walk for victory 2020

The Tertiary Educational Institutions Network (TEIN), a students wing of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC), Chapters in Navrongo in collaboration with the Upper East Youth wing NDC has organized a walk dubbed “Energizing the Youth for Victory 2020”.

The walk which took place at the Kassena Nanakana Municipality of the Upper East Region brought together, the National Vice Chairman, Chief Sofo Azorka, Regional Chairman Alnayi Nunuhu Bolnaba, National Organizer Captain Joshua Hamidu Atamba, the Regional Youth Organizer Abraham Azumah Lambon, the National Youth Organizer Geroge Opare Addo among others.

The walk was organized by the Tertiary Educational Institution Network TEIN of the NDC under the caption ‘NDC Victory is here again keep believing in the great NDC, a home that does not discriminate’ with the slogan, voluntarism.

As part of activities marking the victory walk, they were to hand over the TEIN leadership positions of the NDC, to new executives elected for the 2018, 2019 academic year in the various tertiary institutions; University for Development Studies UDS Navrongo Campus, Saint John Boscos and the Nurses Training colleges of Navrongo.

They were charged to mobilize the TEIN youth of the NDC very well in order to win come 2020.

Some Certificate of honor in recognition of contributions made the outgoing executive towards the development of TEIN, Navrongo CH NTC chapter for the 2017/18 academic year for their hard work and dedication.

They were Nabembono Matthew President, Alega Asimiga Simon- Vice President and Achaab Albert Atinboro Treasuere.

The walk started at the UDS Campus through the principal streets of the Kassena Nanakana Municipality KNA and ended at the St John Boscos College of Education where some of the NDC’s executives addressed the youth.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Upper East Regional Youth Organizer explained that, purpose of the walk was meant to unite the party, exposed the incumbent party of NPP unfulfilled promises as compared to Mahama led NDC party when he was in office, regarding development.

The National Vice Chairman, Chief Azorka asked the TEIN youth whether they wanted continued allowance or posting after completion of their courses.

The students answered in the affirmative. He said that NDC was the ultimate choice for 2020 so that, their plight could be solved.

The National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo addressed the youth outlining the reasons in detail why the need for the NDC to take back power in 2020, that the youth lives of the country could be enhanced.
