Chairperson of the NCCE, Josephine Nkrumah, has urged students to learn the constitution and be well-informed of their civic rights and responsibilities.
She said there is the need to imbibe the core values of integrity, patriotism and truthfulness particularly because such values are key to good citizenship.
Speaking at an Inter University Civic Competition in Accra, Miss Nkrumah expressed the hope that the competition would build the capacity of the youth to defend the constitution against all forms of abuse and further seek knowledge about political governance, history and the country’s values.
