Coalition for Social Justice, says it will organise a mammoth demonstration in Accra on the 2nd of next month to register their frustrations.
The march is dubbed “Kum yen preko” – to wit: “kill us now”.
According to the group, government has disappointed the youth by failing to create jobs for them.
“Ever since President Akufo-Addo ascended the Presidency, he and his government have pursued policies that have left many worse off and increasingly vulnerable”.
“We note, among other things, the unbearable cost of living in the country occasioned by high cost of fuel, continuous depreciation of the cedi and skyrocketing prices of goods and services without a corresponding increase in wages.”
Spokesperson for the Coalition, Nabila Alhassan, told GBC’s Radio Ghana that the demonstration is not politically motivated, but it is to fight for social justice for all Ghanaians.
