CID commences investigations into Ofosu Ampofo’s electronic gadgets

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has commenced investigations into the seized electronic gadgets of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo in the ongoing probe into alleged kidnapping and causing damage case.

Deputy Director-General of the CID, ACP George Tweneboah disclosed this to journalists in Accra yesterday (June 20), saying a forensic team is currently accessing Mr. Ampofo’s mobile phones and computers.

Mr Ampofo yesterday reported at the CID headquarters as part of a bail term, in connection with an alleged kidnapping and causing damage allegation.

The NDC National Chairman was arrested by police, following the issuance of an arrest warrant,to assist them in an alleged arson and causing damage case.

He earlier declined an invitation by the CID to assist in investigations into the case.
