The Senior National team, the Black Stars, will this evening lock horns with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in one of the second Group F matches in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Egypt.
Defending champions, Cameroon, will start as slight favourites to win the Group F clash in Ismailia, having scored twice in three minutes to end the resistance of Guinea-Bissau. Ghana on the other hand were held 2-2 by Benin.
The Stars boast a record of six consecutive top-four finishes from 2008, including finishing runners-up twice.
Eight previous meetings have produced three Ghana wins, three draws and two Cameroon victories.
Head coach of Cameroon, Clarence Seedorf, is expected to start the same team against Ghana after they beat Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in their first match.
Stars coach Kwesi Appiah will make changes to the team as John Boye and Thomas Agyepong have been ruled out due to suspension and injury.
Skipper Andre Ayew will start after recovering from a knock sustained in the Benin match.
The match starts at 5 pm and commentary will be live on all GBC Regional FM stations and on GTV Sports Plus.
