The Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi says phase one of the Marine Drive Investment Project will start by October, this year (2019).
The project comprises hotels, restaurants, conference centres, shopping malls as well as cultural villages, amphibians theatres and office spaces.
She said the project will occupy a parcel of land stretching from the Osu Castle, along the sea up to the Baden Powell Memorial Hall.
It is envisaged to encompasses the Osu Christianborg Castle, Black Stars Square, the Arts Centre, and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
The Minister was responding to a question by Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korley, Dr Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings who wanted to know what plans the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has in place for Communities in Osu, particularly South Anorhor.
