Former coach of the Cranes of Uganda, Sebastien Desabre, has secured a new job with Pyramids FC of Egypt, barely 24 hours after his sack.

Desabre, who coached the Cranes of Uganda at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt to the second round of the competition, was sacked after they lost the round of 16 match against Senegal last week.

He was officially unveiled as Pyramids FC on Monday, July 8, in Egypt.

This is the second job of the Frenchman in Egypt after a short spell with Ismaily in 2017, where he took charge of the club in 18 games.

During his time at the helm of the Ismailia-based club, Desabre won 13 games, drew four, while losing only once, which came against Al Ahly, who eventually were crowned league champions.

In their debut season, Pyramids FC have managed to finish second in the Egyptian Premier League, but could still drop to third in case Zamalek managed to win one of their remaining three games.
