NDC Elects Regional Executives Today

The Greater Accra branch of National Democratic Congress, (NDC) will vote on Saturday, September 1 at the Central Cafeteria, University of Ghana, Legon, to elect its executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
Delegates from all 275 constituencies will assemble at various designated centres to perform a very important democratic function on behalf of party constituents.

The Upper West Regional Branch of the NDC says it is ready to elect its regional executives .
Speaking to Radio Ghana at Wa the Regional Director of Elections of the party Mohammed Saani also known as Abacha said the party has received all the elections materials to ensure smooth exercise.
He said forty-six (46) people are contesting for various positions in the region.
Mr. Saani called on the delegates and the contestants to conduct themselves well during and after the exercise. He said the necessary arrangements have been made with the police to ensure security of everybody.
The National Organiser of  NDC, Kofi Adams speaking to Radio Ghana, said there is a strong management system in place to ensure that there is a peaceful regional elections today.
Mr. Adams therefore, urged all party delegates to elect persons who will live up to the mandate and visions of the NDC.
In a related development, Former President Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings, has sent a message of goodwill to candidates and delegates participating in the National Democratic Congress Regional elections today.
Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings who is the founder of NDC, has asked the delegates to elect committed members. Those he said respect the essence of teamwork and who are principled, truthful and sincere.
“Let us establish through the outcome of our regional elections, that we have learned from our recent past.” He admonished.
