The Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo has cautioned lawyers and lecturers advocating mass admission of prospective student into legal training institutions to be wary of their action.
This she said, could pose a serious problem because the country could be flooded with half baked lawyers who may bring the reputation of the profession into disrepute.
Justice Akuffo noted that what should be of utmost importance is the quality of the professionals.
The Chief Justice was speaking at the Bench, Bar and Faculty Conference which focused an “the changing landscape in the Law – The Judge, the Lawyer and the Academic”.
