Former Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu upon arrival at new club Esperance de Tunis has shared a heartfelt message to the porcupine family.

The 24-year-old spent nine months with Kotoko helping the Club to the Group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup and lifting the Normalization Committee Tier 1 Special Cup.

If there are any Cinderella stories in the game, ‘Conte’ is indeed having the time of his life. After his incarceration in Sweden.

All was not lost for the midfield dynamo who returned to Ghana and joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko. After a successful season with the reds. He gained his debut call up to the Senior National Team.

As Ghana’s football fraternity is still under Normalization with no green light on when the football season will begin, Kwame Bonsu inked a 4-year deal with one of Africa Football greats Esperance de Tunis.

However, in an open letter posted on his official Twitter account to his former club, an emotional Kwame Bonsu wrote,

” I will first of all like to thank God for my life. It is with mixed feelings that I am writing this message, to everyone at Asante Kotoko SC, the management, the technical team, medical team to my teammates and of course to the fantastic fans who made me feel so special. It has been a short but amazing journey with this great club, it is with enormous sadness that I must say goodbye. I will miss you all and wishing you all the best of luck for the future”.

Kwame Bonsu is likely to make his debut in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against FC San-Pédro.
