The 3rd Ministerial Council Meeting of the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use, WASCAL, has taken place in Accra, with a call on member countries, to fulfil their financial commitment towards the institutions.
This is because most member countries are defaulting in their payment of 30,000 Euros annually, towards overhead and administrative costs, while the German government, keeps bearing the cost of training and data collection by climate change Scientists.
