Parliament has approved the mid-year review of the budget statement and economic policy of the government and the sum of GH₵6,370,355,925.82 as supplementary estimate of government for the 2019 financial year.
Despite stiff opposition from the Minority who are against the tax increases, the majority side carried the day with a voice vote.
The Minority is also calling for a full blown investigation into the suspension of the concession agreement between PDS and ECG.
