Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged parents and students to embrace the opportunity provided by the Free SHS policy of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Dr. Bawumia said this at a sod-cutting for a construction of a Six hundred (600), capacity bed girls’ dormitory and housemistress’ block for Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco) in the Northern region.

He said it is a golden opportunity to position Ghana and the North in particular on the path of growth and development and emphasised government’s  commitment to add to continuing efforts as a nation to promote education and making sure that poverty is no longer an excuse for any Ghanaian child not to reach their full potential.
