The Federation of Muslim Councils (FMC) of Ghana, umbrella body of Muslims in the country has described as a delight the assurance by President Akufo-Addo that the controversial Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE), would not be introduced under his watch.

A statement signed by Secretary-General of the Council, Hajj Muhammad Amir Kpakpo Addo, urges government to ensure that CSE is not passed through the backdoor, as any such move would incur the wrath of Muslims and Ghanaians at large.

The statement commends all patriotic Ghanaians for kicking against the introduction of CSE.

The Federation of Muslim Councils asked the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service,  UNFPA and UNICEF to desist from pushing what it termed the satanic agenda any further.
